Job listing: We are looking for project employees

Do you want to work with the development of the student innovation ecosystem in Norway?

Erik Klevar, leader student engagement

The research centre Engage is looking for engaged students who can participate in the development of a trial project connected to entrepreneurship and student-to-student mentoring of start-up companies and other commercial projects.

The project is based on Spark* NTNU, a mentoring service where students mentor other students who want to start companies or those who have an idea that could form the foundation of a startup company. At other higher education institutions there are similar organisations who do mentoring of student ideas. However, these organisations do not share knowledge and experience, which could mean that they do not reach their full potential.

The spring semester of 2021 there is going to be a trial project where we want to look at different forms of cooperating between the different institutions to support the student innovation eco systems at NTNU and other universities and university colleges. The position term is from January to June 2021. The trial project is set to expire in the summer, but if it is considered a success we will set down a new one that will try to reach organisations abroad also.

The position has an hourly wage based on NTNUs guidelines for student assistants and vary based on education level (ca 160-170 NOK per hour). The position includes flexible working hours and is set to a maximum of 100 hours per semester.

The position includes:

  • Planning of the project, organising resources and network
  • Facilitating workshops, courses and competence development
  • Evaluation and analysis of the trial project
  • Other, relevant tasks connected to the project

We do not require any existing knowledge for this position, but you should be a structured and engaged student. If you are interested in innovation and entrepreneurship this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about what is happening in the innovation community at NTNU and other institutions, and an opportunity to create a solid network.

We can offer:

  • Flexible working hours
  • The opportunity to create something from scratch
  • A good working environment
  • A solid network within entrepreneurship
